How to combine text from multiple cells in Apple numbers

The Formula: =[inset cell]&” “&[inset cell]

Finding out how this formula has literally saved me hours of work copying and pasting information from multiple cells.

So imagine having a list of hundreds of names and copying and pasting each first name and last name, yes that’s what I was doing before I found out this formula.

Here is the simple formula for the table above:

=B2&” “&C2

If you want to swap the two values around then simply put C2 first followed by B2

=C2&” “&B2
